In Tennis winning the French Open, Wimbledon, Us Open and the Australian Open in the same calender year amount to completing the Grand slam. The cool Facts is the first man to do this is Mr Don Budge, in 1938, and the first Woman was Maureen Connolly in 1953,surprisingly both is from California.
